OK, well guess only time will tell on that,..anyway, yea now it is setup, and it won't go anywhere, so a little it at a time, new things will come in,..it still is better, then e-mail, or a mail list, for multiple communications,...
This "off the wall" discussion could be fun too,If not sure what the appropriate topic, is or Just want to start a  off the wall thread,...This is the place to do it Please, keep it "clean", and keep in  mind any age groups, may be reading, so please no "adult only" or porn, Also I hope everyone respects, race, religion, or political, prefrences, any discussions on those, should be don tact fully and with respect, then there won't be a problem. Enough on that,...

Edit, I cut some of my text here,..as I don't think it is relevant....at this time.

How about the "For those beginning" - said by OOldos today to already exist!

I wanna post stuff there like "So WHY do I wanna prog - what will it do for ME"

New users are our lifeblood and inspiration

Yes I believe there is a board or topic, For those beginning,You don't need to ask permission,  to post replys, or start a new topic, IE: My reasons for Wanting to Prog,....You could also start this topic in the general discussion,...
If you are wanting to also invite others to reply, with theyre reasons, for wanting to learn, then a more appropriate, topic tittle would be Why Do you want to learn Prgramming ? and start it out with the first reply, being your reasons,....
The only boards, that, are not open to start new topics, are the tutorials, and the Lessons,...All the other boards, are supposed to be open, to be able start topics, and replys.
As I mentioned, in one of the introduction posts, If one is unsure, as to what category, or board ,they should use, for a topic, they are interested in starting,
Yes, this is best to ask first. Personally I think, that a discussion, on reasons for
wanting to learn prgramming, best be started in the general discussion category.
Hope I make sense., there is no set rule, on this,...I can see a need for a FAQ, section, where one can look for instructions on how to start topic, etc...
I think, SMF has one  pe-made,
