Since I got remembering, back in 1995, I decided to see what comes up
for misc.transport.trucking.com , it is a mess now,...I would not really want to claim it, but then here is  one of the earliest posts,...and also a link,. the link first; http://groups.google.com/group/misc.transport.trucking/browse_frm/month/1995-06
Google did not exist at this time, but now they have it.....
Here is one post I copied,...

Greetings All.
As has been stated, and deserves to be restated,  all who have been

hoping for a
place to post trucking related questions and comments owe a salute to

Garry Ricketson for having the perseverance to start this group.
I am a regular, full time driver for a large refrigerated carrier,

have been the
industry for about 20 years. I've driven accident free over 2 million

miles.
In 1992 /93 I served the industry as a member of America's Road Team,

a small
group of drivers chosen to represent the millions of professional

drivers in the
public eye. I made appearances to school groups, business

organizations, and
social clubs to spread the word that trucks  and truckers are safe and
productive members of their community.
Again, Welcome to the group!
Best Wishes, and Drive Carefully.
Remember the motto: If You've Got It, A Trucker Brought It!
Jim
It's here...

Well guess thats about it for now,
from Garry
I know this is way off topic to code and prgraming, but thats why this category is called off the wall ,....
