I just checked into Photo Bucket,...my account was still active,.It appears to me, that if anyone wants to use photo bucket for theyer images, they need to start theyer own account, it is free, then similar to DropBox, you can copy, paste a link to the image or images , anywhere, a e-mail, forum post,..your web site, thus, anyone can "click the link" and get the image,...
This is the only image I have there at this time,...lets see how it works:

Ok and this is the link to Photo Bucket if anyone wants to start a account.(below)

Ok it is a little hard for me to explain, this....because, the reader dose not see everything,...let me try this----
Code:

Ok it is a little hard for me to explain, this....because, the reader dose not see everything,...let me try this----
The code in the window, is the HTML code used to view the image,
If you have your account started,  and you have some images, you can get a "window" that shows, in a way like drop box, , where you can copy the link tags, the Direct link , links you to my (or yours) Photo Bucket folder, and one can copy/download the image that way,. but better is to select the one with the IMG tag, (shown in the code window), Then you can paste the tag into your post, the image also can be "saved as" to your computer if you want,....This dose not occupy any space on SMF because the actual photo is archived at photo bucket, the browser reads the tag,and displays the "thumb nail" in the post,....Anyway it seems to be a good option. I will try to write sort of a tutorial explaining how this works,..and put it in the "other tutorials" if thats ok, with every one. As I can see it may be confuseing to some that know nothing about html tags, etc....But once you have your photo bucket account set up, It may make more sense,.... If I can get a screen shot, of the photo bucket, "folder", with the options for linking I can explain better....since it is late, maybe tommorow or the next couple of days...
Now I will see how it works

I am guessing that anyone looking for a picture of a catagory or something
could eventualy end up seeing the pictures you have there. Is that true
or am I dreaming again.

It doesnt appear to be place where you would want to put any personal  pics.
But a good place for things in general like your icons and such.

Well actually, this is because I have my account open for puplic viewing,
you can keep it private, if you want, or even have 2 seperate folders, one for the public, and one private, ...I think you are right, probably with just useing my name in the search, the photo bucket account would come up,...or like wise
if the name of one of the images matched in search, howver I haven't really put any titles yet,..for example if I make a folder named SPRITES, then some one doing a google search for SPRITES, might stumple on to a link to photo bucket/garry/sprites , because the key word matches, but if you do a search for sprites, you will see there are 1,000 s of links listed, so the chances are very low. But yes you are right, eventually anyone could stumble on to them.
How ever like I said, when you start a account you do have the option to keep it private,  ....
